Choosing a size online becomes much easier when you know what the chart is measuring. Before ordering, check the product’s Size & Fit information and identify whether the numbers describe your body or the garment itself.
Body measurements
Body measurements are taken around you—most commonly at the bust, waist and hips. Use a soft measuring tape, keep it level and close to the body, and avoid pulling it too tightly.
Garment measurements
Garment measurements are taken from the clothing item. The easiest way to use them is to lay a similar piece you already love flat, measure it, and compare those numbers with the product chart.
Fit and stretch matter
A slim or body fit sits closer to the shape, while a relaxed or oversized fit includes more room by design. Non-stretch fabric usually needs more ease; medium- or high-stretch fabric moves more naturally with the body.
If you are between sizes
- Choose the larger size for extra comfort or for non-stretch fabric.
- Choose the smaller size only when you prefer a closer fit and the product construction allows it.
- For dresses, focus first on bust and waist.
- For trousers and skirts, focus first on waist and hips.
- For jackets, check bust, shoulders and sleeve length—especially if you plan to layer.

Size charts are a guide. Sizing can vary by supplier, fabric, cut and style, and supplier measurements may differ by 1–3 cm due to manual measuring.
